Yesterday we shared an audio clip in which a woman dialed 999 to report a lack of sprinkles on her ice cream - potentially jeopardising the speed at which genuine callers could report an emergency. Thankfully not everybody abuses the emergency line in this manner. In fact, the below clip - recorded early last year by 999 operatives - is a great example of when to call 999. In the clip, 3-year-old Taylor a Price can be heard speaking to our operatives after his mum fell down the stairs of their Foleshill home and was rendered unconscious. Well done Taylor... If a brave 3-year-old can get this right, we should all be able to. Please, only call 999 in an emergency. Thank you.
