Yesterday we took Kendall & Diane to Hilton Head Airport to pick up the Budget rental car for their trip back to the Keys. Well forget that, they were closed - we had a reservation. Problem was many vendors do not allow one way drop offs to Marathon. Finally Thrifty said we could drop a car off there and they were on their way. Just told us they are south of Miami. Budget will not get good reviews from me. Judy & I then went furniture shopping. We bought our bedroom and family room stuff at Badcock on Ladys Island. Delivery on Tuesday. I commented to Judy we had 2,300 left on our furniture budget so she drug me kicking and screaming to a consignment/antique store where we got 3 items. A windowless antique china closet for her, a two piece 4 drawer side by side wooden filing cabinet for me AND an Iwo Jima flag raising desk statue for me - so 2 out three for me. Probably ought to quit complaining. Need to make another trip to Lowes and get lunch somewhere. Later, Richard
