Yesterday when I was driving home I heard on the radio that the “New Black Panthers” were protesting outside the court house in Sanford, well that did not disturb me, I strongly agree with freedom of speech and the right to assemble. What did disturb me was an interview with one angry woman protesting, who said this is about 100 years of miss treatment of the black man. I thought this trial was about a Spanish dude vs. a Black youth. Let me tell you this, Spanish people have been oppressed too. They have been victims of discrimination. But if my memory serves me right we have had affirmative action for a hell on a long time now, that gives minorities first chose in schools, jobs, loans to start business, and other reverse discrimination on carnations, we even have a Black President for crying out load. I am not saying that there is no discrimination or racism of minorities, and that is unfortunate. What I am saying is, this would have never been a race issue if not for Al Sharpton, Obama, and Jesse Jackson stirred a pot to create derision in a community that has been healing a wound since the 1960’s. I was there in Hempstead New York for the riots when Dr Martin Luther King was Shot, I was there in the 60’s when Dr. King led the March for equality, and I know his dream. The actions on Mr. Sharpten, Obama and the other idiots that spoke out, when it was a local issue” not” a national issue, Mr. King would have been appalled, he would be rolling in his grave that what he fought and died for was, Black & White People living together with equal opportunities and working together for the “good” of mankind. This bull crap that is happening now is evil and hateful and doesn’t nothing to promote Fairness and justice. If Zimmerman is convicted it was not justice but he was used as a human sacrifice to appease evil, Because this case would never have come to trial if it was black on black , the white guy was killed or white on white. I will be the first one to understand that pain of the loss of a child, my own son was killed. This case is not about Civil Rights, it is not about operation of any race. If one coward neighbor had come to help out someone crying for help, both would still have their lives today. We the people failed. If Zimmerman gets convicted or is found innocent has nothing to do with Civil Rights, has nothing to do with apparition of any race. We have to look to the great good and then act as a civilized society and respect the goal here, peace and communities working together as one under GOD.
