Yesterdays event was our best parkrun ever! For our 100th event we thought it would be great to have 100 runners; just about do-able from a previous maximum of 83 runners. So we sent out an appeal, and what a response! Some of our runners made a superhuman effort to be present, some brought friends along - who enjoyed it so much they said theyd be back, including the 100th person to finish! - and some came from away, a few with Club 100 T-shirts just to add to the 100 theme! The weather was kind, the cakes were delicious, the atmosphere was terrific because this event was all about taking part. A big thank-you to everyone who made it possible!
