Yesterdays trip to the Lambeth Show turned into an unscheduled two-mile walk, after they evacuated the site due to adverse weather and neither the transport network nor the phone network could cope with a few thousand damp people suddenly trying to get home. Whilst Im sure the walk was very good exercise - two miles is definitely the farthest Ive walked since my op - today I feel like Ive been kicked in the knee by a mule. Ouch.
