Yet again thoroughly depressed at the outpouring of venom from people who think of themselves as nice and caring. I read this stuff and I feel it poisoning my soul. I wonder how many would actually do what they say, were they given the chance. Do they even think about what they say? Yes, a very bad thing has happened. Yes, someone did it. Yes, he should be dealt with by the law and, I hope, psychiatric professionals. And yes, I do understand that, in the heat of the moment, most of us would inflict serious harm on someone we caught in the act of doing something terrible. But. I wonder how many people would, coldly , by the light of day, lock a 14 yr old, or anybody, in a small cage, set fire to him and laugh whilst he burns. No matter what he had done. Or any of the myriad other tortures Im seeing wished on this lad, by people who think of themselves as good, loving and caring normal members of society. If you really would do this , you are NOT NICE, irrespective of what he has done. If you wouldnt and are just venting your frustration, please go raise some money, bake a cake for the staff, offer to foster or see what your local rescue would like - all other rescues feel this every bit as hard as the staff in Manchester and many are giving from their own already scant resources so perhaps you can help top them up again. Please, no more wasted energy in plotting nasty things to do to this kid, nothing will bring back those poor dogs but theres plenty to do to help the remaining ones, the Manchester staff and the millions of other dogs in distress and people trying to help them, the world over. Thats where your energy should be going.
