Yet another foreign cable car. Da Lat,in the highlands of Vietnam has a 2.3 km cable car, running through pine forests down to a small lake. Fares are 50,000 Vietnamese Dong one way and 70,000 return. (Current rate of exchange is about 18,500 VND/$AUS). Because it runs through the forest it has only slight visual impact. Da Lat has about 800,000 domestic and 80,000 international tourists per year. Apologies for the quality of some of the photos, it was raining heavily.
