Yeyasher Kochachem! Three very positive developments in this article: 1. Haredim believe Torah study protects the State of Israel. So they are going to continue their learning while the IDF is engaged in combat. Thats putting your money where your mouth is! 2. Even if they DID NOT believe that Torah study protects the State of Israel it would be extremely disrespectful to be galavanting on vacations while the rest of the country is at war. So they get credit for prudence as well. 3. If you read the entire article, youll see that Mishpacha Magazine (the Haredi Israel version) is running bios and obits for fallen soldiers. This is apparently unprecedented. Its also a really sweet and powerful gesture. And people liked it! Maybe the other rest of haredi media (including American haredi media) will get the hint that their readers are more open minded than the haredi media gatekeepers.
