You are cordially invited to attend, participate, and support the 2013 joint UQ and QUT RHD Student Conference to be held on Monday 11th November, 2013. This year presents an exciting opportunity for research higher degree students from UQ’s School of Population Health and QUT’s School of Public Health and Social Work to share their research. This is a chance for students to present research in a supportive and collegial forum. This opportunity will enable students to develop and refine presentation skills, present work from any stage of the RHD journey and promote collaboration and interaction with staff and students across the schools. Where: Lecture Theatre F509, QUT Kelvin Grove Campus Date: Monday 11th November 2013 Time: 9am to 4:30pm (concluding with expert panel discussion at 4pm) Cost: Free; Lunch and light refreshments will be provided. Presentations will be approximately 8 minutes each with questions to follow. Topics may include research proposals, grant applications in progress/under consideration, research findings to date, and other aspects relating to undertaking higher degree research. RHD students are invited to submit an expression of interest to present at this year’s conference.
