You dont need to be able to understand greek to understand the dirty little psychological trick that the greek pm is trying to play here when his position is under real threat by an opposition party. But I guess you could certainly imagine that he could be saying is: Im sorry that I allowed the creditors to put your mums and dads in such financial hardship that they committed suicide, but 300 billion is worth more than life itself - but dont worry, because in only another 30 or 40 years of austerity, when you have killed yourselves too, and Im an old man sitting on a caribbean island drinking champagne and being massaged by dancing girls and my billionaire puppet masters have become even richer, everything will be fine, because there will be less of you and more of us around.
