You forget that your partner is a separate entity. You forget that he have dreams and plans and unfulfilled ambitions towards you. It is your job to encourage him to find his path, to realize those ambitions, to stretch himself to his fullest extent, to be complete and satisfied and fulfilled. It is your job to put him down, ridicule his dreams, belittle his plans or laugh at his ambitions. It is not you job to TELL HIM IS OVER UNLESS IT IS OVER, DISCOURAGE HIM, PUT HIM OFF, PLACE OBSTACLES IN HIS PATH or restrict him in any way. It is your job to encourage him to SOAR.
