You know I was thinking this morning about KY politics. Gatewood and I ran against the current elected Governor, who tossed his Lt. Governor Dan Mongiardo who bad mouthed Steve into the ground for Jerry Abramson who does about the same and as we sit here today KY is facing a 90 million dollar budget shortfall and what all experts would agree the worst economy despite the US economic recovery. The other guy David Williams is now a Judge and his running mate Richie Farmer is sitting in Federal prison for stealing taxpayer money, money he stole while he was elected as Ag Commissioner before and while he ran for Lt. Governor. We won every debate, everyone agreed we created the best policy statements especially our tax reform, which I wrote every single word and voters were concerned over Gatewood stance on pot. Now more than 1/2 US states recognize marijuana as a medicinal treatment (KY too) and have made it legal, more than 1/2 have legalized Hemp and frankly are way ahead of KY in their Hemp program and just as many are introducing legislation to either decriminalize, regulate and/or legalize marijuana. Are the voters that stupid, because you pretty much chose the very guys who treated you with the least respect and passed over the only two candidates who even bothered to take up your cause on those issues important to you for a thief and an incompetent. Dont make the same mistake again. People used to say Gatewood was ahead of time - no he wasnt, he was right on time, you all lagged behind. Get rid of Mitch McConnell.
