You know, it occurs to me that when Jon Gruber says the American voter is stupid, he is talking about you on the left who supported the bill. I dont think you are stupid. I think some of you knew it was all a lie and wanted to socialize medicine anyway. That makes you a liar. But a lot of you just believed, or wanted badly to believe, Obama and ACA and all of it was true. I wonder what the cabby who dropped me off at the Capitol Hill rally to stop the ACA thinks now? On the ride up, he politely told me that he supported Obama and the bill. I briefly explained that it was a lie and hed be worse off if the bill came to be. I asked him to come with me and listen to what so many Americans were saying. He thought about it, but then shook his head. He wasnt stupid. He just believed the President. Those patriots on Capitol Hill werent stupid. The bipartisan opposition to the bill wasnt stupid.
