You know, nearly all the influential people and celebrities urging the people of Scotland to vote no to Scottish independence, are exceedingly rich. Personally, I think that Scottish independence is a good idea. Not only for the Scots, but for us too. At present we have the ridiculous situation caused by the devolution of the Scottish Parliament, where Scottish members of Parliament can have their cake and eat it, in that they can vote for legislation in our Parliament and country, but we have absolutely no say in their Parliament, so that the Scottish Parliament can vote for free prescriptions and no tuition fees in their own country, while simultaneously voting for tuition fees and prescription charges in this country. I find that situation ridiculous. The other good reason for the Scotch to be independent is that it would effectively prevent the re-election of another Labour government ever, because the Scottish people have nearly always voted Labour. Thats one of the reasons that the Labour Party are overwhelmingly opposed to Scottish Independence. My concern about all this is that even more conscessions will be granted to the devolved Scottish Parliament, which in my opinion, is grossly unfair to English people. So I think that Scottish independence is fair and just, so I hope that there is a yes vote for independence. It is progress and a natural evolution. Ive been to Scotland and it is a very different country to this country. Politically, economically and culturally.
