You know that super secret NICU project Ive been hinting at? Well, I didnt get online yesterday after the meeting with March of Dimes as I had a migraine all day but I can tell you it went really really great! They are such a wonderful group of people and I love their excitement with me, we had a great brainstorming session and Im looking forward to seeing how this progresses and help each other! I have much more to share, but essentially, the project I am working on consists of me traveling to photograph & tell the stories of babies & families in the different NICUs around the world (or orphan rescue groups who take in abandoned preemies & how they care for them). Using those photographs & stories, I will be writing a human-interest book showing the cultural similarities & differences towards prematurity and raising global awareness with all proceeds going to charity. First trip is to Seoul, South Korea in October! More info on that trip and how people can get involved coming very soon!
