OK, look; Im too angry to debate this exceedingly disturbing miscarriage of justice for fun. So Im going to say this one thing here, and then go away from FB for awhile, collect my thoughts, and figure out how best to go forward from here... I couldnt care less about Hobby-Lobby, what contraceptives they deem kosher or not, or their breathtaking, sociopathic hypocrisy: I dont shop there, would never work there, and cannot be compelled to. Yet. No, the most disturbing aspect of this debacle of jurisprudence has nothing to do with this or that company, its this: The Christian Right is working hard to establish a theocracy in America, in which their brand of willfully ignorant, science-denying magical thinking trumps the democratically established rule of law. You know, like Iran? Afghanistan, Saudi-Arabia, Pakistan, medieval Europe... And the self-righteous, moronic old Christian men of Roberts activist SCOTUS is deep in this American Talibans camp, handing them them one big, dangerous precedent after another. The walls separating church and state are under siege, and neutralizing that threat has become my political mission.
