You know those moments when you create something new that you know will redefine what you present to the world. Well, this new song is the first of a new musical journey for me. Before The Human Expereince, I traveled around the world as a singer/songwriter, playing street music and exploring my connection to music (especially through my voice). In the last several weeks, Ive had a deep musical love affair with writing new songs (guitar and voice). Taking a hiatus from writing electronic music has been a really nice experience this last month and it has birthed something new and magical. Im going to put together an album of my acoustic songs (embellished electronically) and create an entirely new live set of acoustic electronic music. In no way do I intend on stopping creating all other musics (and there are some new collaborations with Nahko and Medicine for the People Rising Appalachia Music, Govinda Music Phutureprimitive Philip Glass and MANY amazing others) but later next year, I will have ready the first David Block electronic singer/songwriter set ready :) Let the journey begin.
