You know you are a stick shift driver in an automatic when you... 1. Instinctively look for the clutch with your left foot when you try to start the car. 2. Also instinctively, checked if the car was parked in gears. 3. Subconsciously rest your hand on the shift knob even though you wont be shifting. 4. Get the urge to shift to neutral 5. Get the urge to down shift to slow down on turns... 6. .. and when wanting to speed up... 7. ... and when coming to a stop.. 8. After parking, pull parking brake harder than ever necessary in an automatic. 9. Turn off ignition without putting car to park first... 10. ...wonders why the key wont come out..
