You know...you can call him a poor sport or unsportsmanlike or whatever...but in all actually, what California Chromes owner said is actually true and I agree with it. He just had the cajones to finally bring light to it. I even read an article about this a few years ago titled Why We Will Never See Another Triple Crown Winner Ever Again. What they have come to allow is like letting a good, fresh team play against champions in the Super Bowl without ever having to play in the playoffs to get there. If they dont stay on the same schedule and have to run at the same risk and fatigue level - then why even call it a Triple Crown race? Its just another race at that point.
