You may have noticed, as I have, that Duke Energy is very aggressively trimming tress under the power lines. I would like to thank Duke for resuming this program again since the purchase of Cinergy. Please allow Duke Energy access to your property to facilitate tree trimming from the power lines. It will greatly reduce the breaker trips during wind storms. Again, thank you to Duke Energy for being responsive to the township. The trees touching a line knock power out for whole streets at a time and causes many inconveniences as well as safety issues for our residents, so consider that when you are approached by Duke.
