You might be wondering about why I joined It Works. The short - TopicsExpress

You might be wondering about why I joined It Works. The short answer is that I joined this business to make money, but it isn’t as simple as that. When my husband and I decided to start a family we knew that we didn’t want to put our baby into outside childcare, we wanted to do all ourselves. We had a plan. I would work 6-10am and he would work 10am-7pm. He would care for the baby in the mornings and then I would have the rest of the day with her. We knew that it would be tight if I dropped back to part time, but we were committed to making the changes needed so we could make it financially. I loved that I was still part of the working world and I loved the bond that my daughter and my husband had because he was sharing part of the childcare responsibilities. Then, the month before our son was born, my position was eliminated and I was laid off. Here we were with two children and only one income. We made additional cuts in our budget and I picked up some babysitting. We used the severance, the unemployment benefits and my 401(k) in an attempt to make ends meet until I was able to find another suitable job. More than a year has passed now and things have gotten truly desperate. I have sold my daughter’s toys, my husband has sold fishing equipment; we have borrowed from family and eaten many meals of beans and rice. I was applying for jobs all over town, trying to tap other contacts to get an “in” somewhere and nothing was happening! When Savannah approached me about joining It Works, my initial thought was that I couldn’t afford the $99 needed to join and frankly I wasn’t convinced about the products. She let it drop and didn’t bring it up again for a couple of months. When we discussed it again, she explained how her monthly income had gone from “trying to be enough to cover the auto ship” to “I can pay my mortgage with my It Works income!” She also showed me in own personal results and the results others in her team were getting and I knew that it wasn’t a gimmick, these products help people reach their health and fitness goals and I knew that was something I could get behind. When she showed me the few steps I would need to take until I would be at her same level of income I knew I had to make it happen! My alternative is to hope I find something full time and have to put the kids in daycare or file bankruptcy, so there isn’t a choice I HAVE to make this business a success!! So, my “why” isn’t just to make money, it’s to keep being a full time mom, it’s to have enough to get square with the creditors, to be current on the car payment. What if I could make enough in this business to pay MY mortgage? To fund the savings account again? What about a family vacation next summer??? Savannah helped to find a path when I was lost and I have this amazing support system of other distributors who are helping me to find the success I need. I have been a distributor for one week and I have sold 5 wraps and signed 1 loyal customer! I am on my way to making my goals for this month and for my life and for the lives of my family. I want to pay it forward! I want to help others the same way I am being helped. We are only limited by ourselves and we have the power to reach our goals, but sometimes we need help and I want to help. Think about your reasons for NOT joining my team and then think about what making money could do for your life and what helping others could do for your soul and when you’re ready, let me know!
