Young people want to live in cities, and they want to use transit instead of driving. This cultural change is one reason why cities, including San Francisco, have been growing and will continue to grow. This population trend isnt going to change. Instead, we need to adjust and prepare for it in terms of housing, transit investment, and other ways to ensure we can absorb the unavoidable growth in a way thats consistent with what we love about San Francisco. With thoughtful planning, we can do it.
