For where you feel unsure about what to do regarding this or that, I shall cause you to see the path and best course to take and it shall be easy for you.” Prophetic Scripture: …Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk… (Psalms 143:8). The phrase “cause me to know” used in Psalm 143:8 from the King James is translated in some other Bible versions as “show me the way” or “teach me the way.” David is asking God to reveal his next steps on what to do and how to live his life. Sometimes we think we have to figure everything out, and it’s good to use our good senses and logical minds to make wise choices. However, all the wise choices in the world aren’t enough for following God into our destiny. That is simply because we can’t always figure out the future. However, God can supernaturally cause or teach us the way. He can guide us and give us ideas and things we didn’t previously consider. If you are feeling today like you are unsure of your next step in life or perhaps you have some difficult decisions to make today, ask the Lord to teach you the way. Of course, that doesn’t mean an angel with a scroll in hand will show up, and you may not have an open vision of Jesus. Although any of those things certainly could happen, the key is realizing that God will cause it to happen even in unnoticeable ways or even in what seems to be the last minute. Ask God to show you and then walk out today with confidence that He will make it easy for you! Prayer: Father, I ask You to reveal my next steps in the area of _____________. Cause me to know Your will in each area, and I trust that it shall be easy for me. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
