Youth Mission Team Update: Hey church family! We just had an incredible day here in the Dominican Republic. Our day started off finishing work over at the Solid Rock School... all the touch-up painting we did looks fantastic and the wall we were helping build up is done! Tomorrow we dont have a work day in the morning, but the SRI Staff said they have a fun surprise for us instead. Cant wait to find out what that is! In the afternoon we continued VBS at the church and the kids definitely multiplied (not a terrible problem to have at all). The room was filled to capacity but well find a way to squeeze more in tomorrow on our last day. We have just been having the best time loving on the kids and sharing Gods love by building genuine relationships with so many of them. Its so fun to see how much the kids love seeing us everyday and how they remember us. After a long day serving Pastor Steve and the SRI Staff took us all out to an authentic Dominican meal at a restaurant called Bienvenidas. We all tried new foods and it was delicious! We even got to go out for ice cream together afterwards. All in all we have been growing together as a team and building awesome bonds. But.... Were about to start a euchre tourney weve been planning all day and its going to be pretty cutthroat so.... until tomorrow. ¡Bueños noches!
