You’re different-2 Genesis 19:27 And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the LORD: Genesis 19:28 And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace. My attention has been drawn to the Ebola issue once again, but this time to an encouraging news. Two days ago, 4 people down with the ebola symptoms and quarantined, in Lagos, Nigeria, were discharged from the hospital after recovery. This brought the total number of discharged victims to 5. I think this is the type of news we need to hear often. Friend, we’re different, we’re in another republic called The Ultimate Republic of the Kingdom of Heaven! Col.1:13 says, Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [us] into the kingdom of his dear Son There has been a kingdom translation. The system of the kingdom we operate in is fully secured and disease free. Now that you’ve stepped on the soil of the Republic of the Kingdom of His Dear Son, and made it your new abode, the armies and security operatives of the kingdom of darkness such as ebola, fever and whatever their names are cant touch you. The bible says, ...the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace …”. The fire was fierce consuming men and women and turning people to salt. Yet, Abraham stood and was watching. How come? Gen.19:27 says, And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the LORD. The Hebrew word translated “stood” is the word amad, meaning to abide, continue, dwell, be employed, establish and remain. Friend, when you continue and dwell with God and face Him continually, you can face whatever consume others without intimidation. Face him in prayers, stand before him and dwell continually in His republic and you will always be kept from whatever consume men!
