Yowza, pretty heartbreaking read. Were so quick to jump to outrage and demand heads roll that we often dont consider context or that there is a real person whose life we may be destroying. In 2015, Im going to try and do a better job of adjusting to our social media and internet norms, where a dumb or sarcastic comment can go global in 5 minutes. Im going to try and give people (especially non-public figures) the benefit of the doubt, even if they happen to be a GOP operative, even if the comment seems unarguably offensive. Wanna join me?
