ZIM UNIONIST SAYS KHAMA, MUGABE CUT FROM SAME CLOTH Secretary General of the Zimbabwe Progressive Teachers Union Raymond Majongwe has said that it is ironic that President Ian Khama is overly critical of his Zimbabwean counterpart Robert Mugabes undemocratic ways while they are two sides of the same coin. Majongwe said this yesterday when addressing a Botswana Federation of Public Sector Unions (BOFEPUSU) rally in Gaborone during the commemoration of Workers Day. The day was themed Unleashing a Progressive Labour Agenda. Majongwe said Khama should stop criticising Mugabe because he is copying and implementing what Mugabe is doing in Zimbabwe. He called on workers movements not to fear regime change. Majongwe had his passport confiscated last month by Mugabes regime on charges that he is soiling the image of Zimbabwe abroad. Majongwe said Botswana will soon be in the same state as Zimbabwe.
