ZOMBIE SURVIVAL TRAINING JOURNAL – Day 77 Awesome training day today!! Again, lapping Adam in the circuit! It’s ok, because he laps me on the circuit with pull-ups so it evens out. Today I learned that Neolithic people believed that the dead posed a threat to the living. Apparently, archeologists working in Europe and the Middle East recently unearthed evidence of a skull-smashing culture. Human skulls buried underneath an ancient settlement in Syria were found detached from their bodies several years after originally being buried. These Stone Age people may have believed that the living could be threatened by the dead and the only way to protect themselves was to smash in the corpses’ faces, detach their heads, and then rebury them away from their bodies. Interestingly the corpses were all male ages 18-30 and it appears that the skulls were smashed using brutal force with a stone tool. Stone Age zombie uprising??? It makes me wonder if there’s ever been any undocumented zombie outbreaks that we may be unaware of.
