Zarahs Love Bunch is 12 days old today! The kittens already weigh 2 to 3 times their birth weight and their eyes opened this week. Zarah continues to be a great mom and takes excellent care of her six little ones to ensure they’re thriving. All six kittens continue to gain weight daily with the largest kitten, Elska, tipping the scales at 9.5 ounces and little Upendo at 7.6 ounces. In the next two weeks, the kittens will begin venturing out of the nest to explore the foster room and, at 4 weeks, litterbox training will start. Zarah is eating a full large can of food every day to support her growing family, that’s 7 cans each week at $3 per can!
