(COMPLETELY WRONG!! --- The improvements in computing speeds and minituration has nothing to do with the pace of alternative energy development such as wind and solar, and this has recently become very clear as even the most environmentally ardent Europeans are revising their target dates for becoming more energy self sufficient. The intellectual giant, Friedman (not Milton) goes on to basically say that Putin is very wrong to think he can bring Germany and Europe to their knees because of Russias great oil and gas holdings, and, any day now, Europe will have no need for all that oil. ZOLTANS LAW: Every year (not every ten years) Tom Friedman becomes exponentially more clueless, arrogant and preposterous.
