Zooey Deschanel was her usual, adorkable self as a guest on The Arsenio Hall Show on Monday. While there, she talked about her Amish hipster style, having a girl-crush on Selena Gomez, New Girl and more. It was all very cute. Host Arsenio Hall turned out to be rather fascinated by Deschanels fashion sense right at the beginning of the interview. Fortunately, the actress seemed happy to talk about her signature look. After laughingly calling her own style Amish hipster, Deschanel noted that others had had a similar idea when describing this form of fashion. One magazine she read even offered advice in this vein: How to dress if youre a Mormon hipster? You could dress like Zooey Deschanel! If youre not familiar with Deschanels fashion, all you have to do is watch New Girl -- the actress says that she and her character of Jess Day have very similar wardrobes. In fact, Deschanel often tries to buy outfits similar to Jess. I have to get it before it airs, she explained. Because once it airs, everything is sold out. The conversation later turned to the fact that an awful lot of people find Deschanels dorky beauty to be very attractive. She was even recently voted the most romantic female celebrity, a title Zooey Deschanel found rather hilarious. The most romantic male celebrity was Channing Tatum, she pointed out. And I was like, Lets do a movie! One person who might agree with this poll is Selena Gomez. In an earlier interview, Gomez apparently stated that she thought of Deschanel as her girl-crush. Zooey was happy to return the compliment. Shes so cute! Deschanel exclaimed.
