_Mil-Tac ThermoBak MULE Series_ ______CamelBak BackPack______ Color: Tan Camouflage Capacity: 2.0 Liter + Storage Original Price: $179.99 Asking Only: $40.00 *****Please Read Full Details***** *******Before Commenting******* I have a ThermoBak M.U.L.E. Series CamelBak 2.0 Liter Backpack Hydration System. This series of CamelBak packs were only made for a short period of time. They still make both MULE & ThermoBak Series of these today, but this was the only time that the MULE Series Packs had the ThermoBak technology added in. What the ThermoBak feature is, is a layer of insulation around the actual bladder where the liquid is stored. It helps keep the liquids cooler for a much longer period of time. This item is also made to full Mil-Specs (Military Specifications). First, it has a 2.0 Liter bladder capacity. The bladder Is literally brand new and has never been used one single time. This specific CamelBak came with an odd 1.5 Liter bladder/hose system, but the specs on the bag stated it had up to a 2.5 Liter Storage Capacity. I purchased a 2.0 liter bladder for it in February. It has a quick open/close bite valve hose that makes it much better. A lot of the bladders come with a small lid that goes over the valve. But with this one, you simply have to push/pull the valve and it quick opens/closes. When it is open, you simply bite on it, and it releases the water. Works perfect. This has never been used, not one single time. I filled it up with water the day I bought it to make sure it had no leaks, and when I seen it didnt, I allowed it to dry, and it hasnt been used since. The CamelBak Pack itself is Tan Camouflage in color, and has a total of 3 Zip-Up Storage Compartments. It also has 2 plastic clips on the shoulder straps, 5 bands on the back that can hold various size shotgun shells, as and two small bands on the shoulder straps that can be used to clip items on. It is made of a strong material, that isnt waterproof, but does pretty well to repel water. Its extremely durable and can stand up to just about anything you could put it thru. It has adjustable shoulder straps, as well as an optional waist strap, which is also adjustable, to keep it from swinging if your doing serious walking or hiking. The waist strap is made so that if you dont use it, its not bulky in any way, and can be moved out of the way easily. It also has a strap at the top for carrying it when not on your back. All of the straps on the pack use snaps/buckles (See Pics) and can be moved around to carry it in different ways or for easy cleaning. The snaps/buckles can also be removed so that it can be machine washed, which makes it very easy to clean up. The pack is in good shape. I purchased it new around a year ago, and have taken care of it since then. The only flaw anywhere on the bag is, one of the zippers on the storage compartments is missing the latch thats on the zipper. Just a bit of explaining, the actual zipper itself IS NOT missing. The only part missing is the little latch that is attached to the top of the zipper. You can still zip/un-zip the compartment just fine. It works perfect. I just never took the time to do anything about it because it didnt really effect me when using it. It opens easily, so I just never paid it any attention. I have also always cleaned the material anytime I have used the pack. I paid $179.99 for this new, plus extra for the larger bladder. I am asking only $40.00 for this. I am willing to meet anywhere in Wise County. PM Me if your interested. Thanks.
