a group of co-workers and I volunteered at a food pantry in Harlem yesterday. One man there got upset when one of the staff workers reached out to shake his hand, and the guy got loud about not wanting to be touched...Ebola is serious, and its killed 4000 people and he didnt want to make it 4001.....he was getting progressively louder and angrier as he approached my station.....these people here are so uptight, they have a stick up their ass....they all need to take a shit...... so I said, I try and take 2 each day.....he paused and glared at me, and burst into deep laughter, and offered me a fist bump I share this story to hope that as bad as shit gets in all of our lives, someone else has it worse.....and sometimes all we can offer is a laugh and a distraction along with simple respect for someone we may never see again
