allow me to inform you of my most recent pizza hut experience. I pulled into the pizza hut location at frank Phillips drive and Cherokee drive in Bartlesville, ok. in front of my car was a delivery driver returning from a delivery (or some other errand). he proceeded to pull into and park in one of the 3 provided handicapped parking places like it was standard procedure. having a disability, and a handicapped parking placard, I mentioned it to him, and he looked at me with complete arrogance and indifference to his actions. I entered the establishment and asked to speak to the manager concerning his actions. she told me that by law they only had to have 2 places for handicapped parking, and that it was painted incorrectly. she was also so indifferent to my complaint to the point that I canceled my order and let them know just how self centered, arrogant, and unconcerned with handicapped people i thought they were. I must admit I was enraged and louder than they liked. they asked me to leave. the parking places in question are all painted alike, so if what she says is correct, how are your customers with handicapped placards supposed to know which 2 places are valid? upon pulling out of that establishment a police officer was heading in my direction and I flashed my headlights at him, upon which time he pulled over to talk with me. he advised me that if HE saw it, he would issue a citation to the driver, and that if the other 2 handicapped places were taken when a 3rd handicapped person pulled in that he would issue another citation for that! I will NEVER consider purchasing another item from ANY pizza hut establishment in the future, unless you can assure me disciplinary action has been taken. the manager I spoke with does not have your customers as a priority, pizza hut! she might maybe be qualified to wash dishes, but I doubt it.
