alright kiddos...time from a restaurant review from a guy who knows a thing or two about eatin....the new bojangles on 411. having liked the previous bojangles in alcoa many moons ago my expectations were high. the service was excellent, clean new restaurant, and very friendly staff. thats where the fairy tale ended for me. paid $6.99 for a breast and thigh meal with mashed potato and cajun bean sides and a biscuit. the biscuit was tasty. the chicken was very dry and both pieces together wouldnt make even a breast portion at KFC or lees. the coating is meh to me. the mashed potatoes and beans were good, nothing spectacular. again, there were mabye two tablespoons of taters and 4 good sporkfuls of the beans. overall it was ok, but for the money i would have gotten full at KFC, lees, or zaxbys. im hoping their portion sizes get a little more generous when the new wears off. i might go back for a biscuit and beans, but the chicken was way below expectations for yours truly both in size and taste. for my money ill stick with lees.
