...at the lockers, I observed how excited a group of young Angolans...with their green hardhats, brand new coveralls, polished boots, unbesmeared safety glasses and with an aura of positive vibes...and I reminisce when I first had my first taste of leading this challenging life... ...I took out my worn out and trusted coveralls...and recalled of my worn out boots and gloves and my scratched up hardhat that had endured the coldest Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan winters, and the harshest summer of Arabian desserts of Rubal Khali as well as the marshes of South Sudan and the dense forest of the Amazons... ..I whispered my thanks to the Creator for giving me the opportunity to observe and interacted with the world as it is and NOT as what the black box in the living room dictates...and to be able to provide and bring security to my loved ones... ...I saw what humanity as it is...that we may look different, follow different routes of live, yet in spite of all these differences, we aspire the same things, we value the same things...and we are all heading towards the same direction...to meeting our Creator... ..May we strive to better human beings than yesterday.... ...Azlan Rig Western Eclipse Total Deepwater Atlantic Ocean Offshore Angola
