deeply ashamed and concerned by the rise of xenophobia, islamophobia and many other (mostly imagined) fears in Germany. Demagogues, extremists and other Pied Pipers disguised in the cloak of democracy spread fear and hatred against minorities, immigrants and refugees. Its the small-minded, ignorant, pettyfogging and paranoid masses who follow and march through the streets. Luckily, there are many contra-demonstrations for pluralism, liberty and democratic rights and all the values we achieved through free democratic basic order - outnumbering the morons.
