er beware. I had a post up before but things are getting worse from the seller. I bought what I thought was a nice registered 3 1/2yr TB mare. The seller talked so highly of this horse we drove an hour and a half away to this very nice barn to see her. She was NOT as advertised the seller was extremely rude. The horse was given bute so she was fine when I rode her to try her out. She was a good 200 lbs underweight and the pictures she advertised were old. Once I started to ask questions about her the seller did not want to answer them or she quickly brought something else up. I ended up taking the mare home feeling bad for her and seeing all of what she could be once she gains weight and gets over her leg injuries. I was able to locate the person who sold the seller the horse and he was able to tell me all I needed to know. My mare was 100% sound AND overweight when he sold this lady the mare. Once I started asking the seller more info and pushing for vet records i was blocked from her phone and facebook. Its one thing to advertise a horse as underweight and lame but its a different thing to advertise as healthy. Please do all of your research before buying and selling your horses. You never know whos on the other end.
