ffs >:-( Dear UMC Staff, as a member of El Pasos academic community and a reasonably scientifically literate citizen, I am deeply disappointed that the UMC Foundation would associate itself with a charlatan who has made millions by taking advantage of the scientific ignorance and medical desperation of thousands of people. I have nothing against entertainment, but promoting forms of healing that are utterly lacking in empirical evidence, to people suffering from real medical ailments, is unethical and, in my opinion, borders on malpractice. Given that scientific ignorance is already a problem of national proportions, its a shame that it should be further promoted by those associated with El Pasos hospitals, on which so many depend for scientifically rigorous treatment.
