gah - comparing the 2 pics I posted today is making me really really hate prednisone fat face. Im the same weight in both pics, but in the one where I am wearing glasses you can see all the chub thats at the back of my face, behind my dimples, all but making my cheekbones disappear. 2 more months of the wean-down, then probably 3-4 months for the swelling to clear. Because of my issues with prednisone, if my body goes back into rejection, theyll remove the implant and redo it using donor tissue. I can still feel it trying to work its way out, but it looks a lot better on the inside of my lid than before... now, even my eyes can see that the surrounding tissue is latching on to the graft.
