getting increasingly worried as things look to take an ugly turn in HK. Beijing has suspended visits by Mainland tour groups... and I worry this foreshadows something sinister. The student leaders also threaten to occupy government buildings - perhaps taking after the so-called Sunflower Movement back in Taiwan earlier this year. I am absolutely against this move, just as I did not support the students in my native Taiwan. Obstructing traffic can be a nuisance that people may overlook, but if you move into buildings, you open up a can of worms with trespassing, illegal entry, vandalism...etc. At some point you push things over a line and force the authorities to come down hard on you. We dont need this. At all. Praying for no bloodshed, and I hope my fears are unfounded.
