What Israeli government are we protecting exactly? Surely not one that wants to end the occupation (even that word is forbidden in the Likud-led government). We want the Palestinians to stop resisting occupation violently. Fair enough, But now we also reject their resistance of the occupation non-violently? American Jews who want a just solution, now is time to raise our voices. Our voice matters more than we think. Soon it may be too late.
