handled another suicide case today, when a lady three years into her marriage felt (as she said in her suicide note) her life no longer worth living. perhaps because it is the state capital, it is the 85th instance of an unnatural death occurring in my jurisdiction alone, in this 2013th year of the Lord... such disturbing figures make me wonder what happened to these poor souls, what abuses they faced, what drove them to the corner that they thought no other means of escape exists but to open the doors to Death...can it really be that in the country i love and hold dear, has, in its worldview, an essentially violent component, which sees so much life as not much worth living? what can be done to reverse the suicide trend and persuade the young and the able, that, even when everything is lost, there is yet a greater world out somewhere - if only they dare grab for it?
