have three huge birthdays to celebrate today. First, rockabilly legend, singer-songwriter-musician Eddie Cochran (1938). With hits like Cmon Everybody, Somethin Else, and Summertime Blues. His Twenty Flight Rock was featured in the move The Girl Cant Help It. His promising career was cut short in a taxi accident in Chippenham while on tour. Second, singer-songwriter-musician Lindsey Buckingham (1949) best known for his time with Fleetwood Mac. His writing ability, unique guitar style and wide vocal range are a big part of a lot hits. Fleetwood Macs current tour gets them as close to us as San Diego on Dec. 2. And third, singer-songwriter Chubby Checker (1941). Chubby is a living legend. His The Twist tops Billboards list of the most popular singles ever. He is the only recording artist to place five albums in the Top 12 all at once. Fifty years after he began he had a single at #1 on Billboards dance chart in July 2008 with Knock Down the Walls. He is still touring at age 73 and will be in Yuma on Mar 13th.
