hey all. im not sure if this is the right place to post but I wanted to hopefully get some advice and/or direction. I work at a vet clinic on a military post that has a stray facility. A few weeks ago a cat was found on post and brought into the stray facility.. shes very old, easily over 10, most likely in her teens and has maybe one good tooth left in her mouth. Nobody has come to claim her and now she sits in our facility always overlooked by people because of her age. Shes as sweet as can be and it breaks my heart that this girl lived to be as old as she is only to live out what time she has left sitting in a cage. Is anybody out there interested in a senior kitty that would make one of your couches or chairs or even your lap her nap place? she seems to be very gentle and sweet but Im not sure how she is around other animals. I dont know her medical history but I would be willing to get her examined by our vet and even cover the adoption fee which is $30 to get her out to a good home. Any advise would be greatly appreciated, I think this sweet baby deserves more in her golden years.
