hey guys - i really want to bring you along with me all this winter as i shoot my Survivorman episodes around the world...and so i will try to do my best to stay on top of the social media thing in REAL TIME - with FB, Twitter, Vine, Instagram - whatever - but this seems to be confusing some of you - so please take a look at my answer to my friend Scott: Scott Moss Love you Les... I watch every episode.... and I think youre everyones wild life big brother ....but I have a question...how are you doing all these Survivorman shows out in the middle of bumf+=# Egypt....and still have a continuous access to the internet...(I.E.~ Facebook???) Les Stroud: Im going to answer you because some others seem to be sort of thinking the wrong thing here too - so totally no offence intended - all ya gotta do is really pay attention to the timeline of my posts etc - often i post right up to the night before heading in and then immediately after - or sometimes its my web girl doing a posting from good ol Canada - as well when i am doing the Survivorman Bigfoot shows - i am not in true survivorman mode, so i have a crew etc and dont have to be alone or even stay out in the wild continuously and i can even eat!!! but i am trying this year to be in real time mode for you all and bring you with me on all of my journeys - for example i head out to the first survivorman shoot on tuesday - its a little secret where i am going right now, until i am on my way and then i will tell you this Tuesday where i am headed so you can kind of come there with me - and at some point - you are quite right - i will be out of touch and out there surviving and will text as soon as i am back - perhaps i can get my field producer (who will be warm and happy in a hotel somewhere) to post while i am out.....does that all make sense now? ....L
