how can the worlds manufacturing nations compete against china .... china has the people power to supply and manufacture the entire worlds needs ..... which is what is happening .... chinese workers get paid a fraction of what we earn in the west so there goods are competitive on the worlds markets even to manufacture and transport the goods by road train ship with all these cost there goods are still a fraction of what we can make the goods for ...... how can we compete ...... we need to put tariffs on there goods china needs to re value there currency pay there workers higher wages ... put they want do this ,..... so our governments need to apply tariffs ...... to keep manufacturing jobs in Australia and Europe think of the global foot print manufacturing these goods in china is leaving on the planet all the oil needed to transport these goods over the world ... think of all the resources packing material etc .... we need to stop globalisation go back to the way we where self sufficient and we need to stop china buying up our land our farms our water rights ...
