The movie itself didnt have a real score....the so called score consisted of electronic tonalities imitating the noise of the birds.........this is an early electronic score. Composed and performed was it be two pioneers of electronic music: Remi Gassmann and Oskar Sala. The instrument they performed the sounds is called Trauntonium - an early antecestior of todays modern keyboards and synthesizers. Composer Bernard Herrmann was involved in this production as sound consultant.
