https://youtube/watch?v=dtx5cjPnlCM I got this radio at a flea market ....I will never forget the excitement when I saw it there on a table..This was the first radio for me that had big (coke bottle) shoulder style tubes not just GT tubular or miniature tubes ... I heard that a lady had it in her kitchen for years ........and then she brought it to the flea market.....Paid about $60.00 for it..Has a very very warm mellow sound with big 8 inch speaker. I am just demonstrating some of those atmospheric airplane like shortwave drones here that always fascinated me when I was a kid.....Really gorgeous dial on this one...I will be overhauling it this fall/winter ..put new capacitors underneath the chassis and add a fuse and replace paper capacitors and make reproduction dogbone resistors with plumbers epoxy...
