i agree with your frustration, even though i wasnt born in the 60s or 70s Half my life was a military Government and have Civilian, I believe i can voice my opinion. If you havent had two wives you wouldnt know which is the better one, I was so proud of my country when we used to be united in the three major tribes, only now have i realized that we were only united against what the Military that held us as once nation. I believe every nation should use a type of government that works for them, I am Still waiting to see who dares preach democracy to the Arabians, unfortunately they are doing good. Democracy has been a curse to us, if not for anything but the Ethnic disunity that rules our country today, i am Scared and amazed at how ethnically biased the current generation is. Living in harmony is the Underlying foundation of any Union .Fellow Nigerians should wake up to see this inherent clear and present danger. I will never advocate breaking up the country but at the current pace of things it is naturally inevitable. We copied democracy from the Americans, not fully understanding what it entails, a system to safe guard this in establishing human equality, the Rule of Law and an independent judicial System. we have a constitution and there isnt anybody to interpret this to us. Our politicians do not have a Clue either May be introduce democracy to be taught in our curriculum in our Secondary schools make citizenship studies compulsory for the senior school leaver since this is mandatory to contest a political office and as a General studies Class in our universities. If you dont know how to drive then you will crash the car. I am tired of seeing whats wrong with Nigeria, I want answers, And we would all be amazed and surprised to know how obedient the Nigerian is in the eyes of enforceable law.
